Directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris from a screenplay written by Michael Arndt. Greg Kinnear as Richard Hoover, Steve Carell as Frank Ginsberg, Abigail Breslin as Olive Hoover. It's not about luck, Frank. Luck is the name losers give to their own failings. It's about wanting to win.

Written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, based on Cormac McCarthy's 2005 novel of the same name. Dream #1 The first one I don't remember too well, but it was about meeting him in town, somewheres, and he give me some money. I think I lost it. Dream #2 Second one, it was like we was both back in older times. And I was a-horseback, going through the mountains of a night. Going through this pa...

KOCHAM TĄ PROGNOZĘ POGODY : ) WTEDY MAM WIATR WE WŁOSACH : )
A good interpretation, Cormac intended the message to be, and please excuse the language barrier, “there never was a country for old men to die peacefully and for children to play in pure safety.” It’s a comment on the classic American “Good old days” myth. There never were “good old days” it’s just the same experiences of brutality and greed and unreasonable death and destruction that our fathers struggled with, and their fathers, and their fathers, as far back as people can remember having fathers. Cormac wanted to say with this book “Nostalgia is a lie to fool us and the ‘good ol’ days’ is a myth to comfort us.
@@DoctorProph3t yeah Cousin Ellis definitely hit on this message
Look, hate me all you want, but I have to be honest: Overall, this movie just didn’t do it for me. I can see why people like it, but LOVE it or even hailed it as a masterpiece and one of the best films of the century?! I just can’t see it that way. The acting and the pacing of the film just felt painfully flat and slow. It was way too dialogue/exposition heavy. Very little to no music. It also just felt all over the place in terms of the themes, storylines, and characters. The Ed Tom Bell character storyline felt like it was from a different movie and was trying to shoehorn its way into No Country and had very little to no impact other than exposition. Also, the drug cartel as well as the Carson Wells character had very little explanation or development as well. Lastly, Anton’s shotgun and its sound gave off a completely sci fi feel to the movie that did not belong. To be honest, it could’ve worked SO MUCH BETTER as a mini series instead. That’s me!
Irena na bani?
Kto zawsze promuje tego Jarosława K. Bo podobnie to wygląda

The dark and the cold represents Bell's life experiences, especially the recent ones, knowing that his father is going ahead with the fire (the light), Bell knowing that his father will have the fire going the next time they meet with be Bell meeting his father in heaven, beside the fire (the light)
I went to this movie with my father. I was a teenager so I enjoyed bits of it but not this bit. I absolutely get it now. I miss my dad.
God, I love this movie!
"And then I woke up" So simple, but it's the key to everything. Brilliant

This is so lame. How could anyone fall for this type of BS?
A kto promuje tego J. Kreta nie da się na to patrzeć niestety?
Reminder that Bell isn't talking about going to meet his father in death 💀 Common misinterpretation. The meaning is: Bell is now older than his late father by 20 years. This should make him 20 years wiser, but he doesn't feel that way. He still sees his father as the older, wiser man. The cold landscape is a symbol of the cold, harsh, hostile world Bell lives in. He still wishes there was someone ahead of him-above him, in front of him-to build a safe place, to show him that everything will be fine. Then he "woke up". There is nobody ahead of him. He's confused, scared, and totally alone. It has nothing to do with death.
TOP NAJWYŻSZY POZIOM NAWET PO 30 LATACH!!!❤😂 I ta wspaniała TEMPRA 😍
"Fixing to make a fire in all that cold and dark" is the part that really sticks with me.

Watching this after losing your dad hits hard.
This scene makes me think about my deceased father. It wrecks me everytime.
To ten pan od inflacji. W zeszłym roku był w telewizorze. Teraz jest prezesem jakiegoś banq czy jakoś tak 🤔 i też tak samo opowiadał 😜
The man who loses his father’s money in a dream is a dangerous man.
I watched this in a Cinema in Tyngsboro Massachusett when it came out.By then i was a full on Coen Bros. fanboy and would have watched a movie about just about anything , as long as it was an Ethen/Joel flick. i watched this ending and being completly blown away at the suddebnness of it. the immediacy, the forecefulness ihn which you were made to make an immediate choice. I i9mmediately undertood the immediacy and moral ambililance of the ending and realizing this was the best movien ending sinfe Emptire Strikdes back and One Flew Over The Cuckooos Nest before. . Some very angry, white trash woman only yelled WHAT THE FUCK. at the ending , solidifying my opinon of the ending.
Mann... na sam jego widok gęba się śmieje 😂😂😂

Wilson: “Gus?” Gust: *sigh* “Yeah…”
I was fortunate enough to see this absolute masterpiece in the theater. Flawless movie, and I don’t say that often.

When you're in that age group that clock ticking in the background is no longer subliminal. It just gets louder and louder.
